CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THE WEEK---- 16 NOVEMBER  2008

1. Today is the 33rd Ordinary Sunday of the year and is celebrated as the “World Communication Day”. Next Sunday is the

feast of “Christ the King”.

2. On Saturday the 22nd November is the feast of St. Cecilia, Patron of the musicians. On that day we have a tea party for all

choir members at 4.00 pm at the presbytery. All the choir members are cordially invited.

3. The Parish clergy is glad to inform you about Mission preaching arranged in our church from 21st Nov to 23rd Nov.

The preacher is Bro.Thomas from Manipur. The timings are from 6.00pm to 8.00pm. Kindly make use of this opportunity to

experience the love of God.

4. Next Sunday i.e. 23rd November, there is a special prayer meeting for the youth of our parish at divine light ministry prayer

hall, opposite to St. Mary’s B. Pharmacy. All the youth of our parish are requested to participate in the prayer meeting

without fail. Timing are 10.00am to 04.00pm. Lunch will be provided.

5. Today soon after 9.30 am Mass there will be youth meeting at our parish hall. All the members are requested to attend the

meeting.

6. The amount we received for renovation of the church till now is Rs 25,60,108/. The amount still required is Rs 17,19,580/-.

Therefore, we request you to come forward with your generous contribution to avail this unique opportunity to show your

love for this Church.

7. Last Sunday’s collection was Rs.66,033/-. The parish clergy thanks you for your generous contribution.

Since the maintenance of the church is the responsibility of every person, who benefits from the

services, masses and spiritual programmes of this church. We request you to be as generous as

possible, so that we may continue and complete the renovation of the church.
